COVID-19 Preventive measures

Granbell Hotel Kyoto has always prioritized the comfort and safety of our valued guests. In response to the current COVID-19 situation, we are committed to maintaining the high standards of a safe and healthy environment that you have come to expect from us for both our guests and our employees. Therefore, we have implemented various preventive measures throughout the hotel. 

Preventive measures

<Upon check-in time>

• We will perform a temperature check of all staying guests
• We will ask you to fill in our questionnaires
• We will check your ID-card

<Front desk . Common Areas>

• Transparent partition screens are installed at the front desk
• Please line-up correctly upon check-in and check-out time
• Plastic gloves and masks are available at the front desk if needed
• All guests are required to wear mask
• Please practice social distancing in all common areas
• The number of people in the smoking area has been limited
• The number of people using the elevator at the same time has been limited
  Please refrain from taking the elevator with people that do not belong to your party
• The number of people using the public bath area has been limited
• Hand sanitizers are installed throughout the hotel. Please disinfect your hands regularly
• Throughout the hotel you will find instructions concerning the COVID-19 preventive measures
• All staffs will be wearing mask
• All staffs undergo temperature check before their shift
• All staffs wash and disinfect their hands periodically

＜Restaurant＞

• Please disinfect your hands upon entering the restaurant
• To avoid congestion, we have implemented a timeslot system for breakfast time
• The space between tables has been widened in order to avoid congestion
• The buffet tongs are regularly disinfected (every 30 minutes)
• Plastic gloves are available if needed
• For the time being, the breakfast system has been temporarily amended
• The buffet dishes are covered by protective lids

＜Rooms＞

• In addition to the normal room cleaning, we also disinfect high-touch spots like doorknobs, remote control, table etc.
• Slippers in the room are disinfected
• All rooms are equipped with free WIFI that allow you to use internet without having to leave the room

＜Bar＞

• Please disinfect your hands upon entering the bar area
• The space between seats has been widened in order to avoid congestion

To our guests who plan to stay at our hotel, please be considerate in case you have one of the below symptoms:

1. Cold symptoms (coughing, sneezing)
2. More than 37,5 degrees fever
3. Fatigue and difficulty to breathe
